Bay Filly, born 03/2015
by Toulon - Comte - Rio Branco - Glücksstern - Grande - Wedekind - Der Löwe xx
Hanoverian mare line of Dehita, mare line no. 1189702

Very interesting jumper foal with good conformation by the international Belgian bred, 5-Star Grand Prix winner Toulon.

Toulon comes from a proven performance line; his dam Nikita produced three other internationally successful performance horses. Toulon’s full brother, the licensed stallion Vancouver D’Auvray competed for Brasil with Bernardo Alves in the 2010 WEG in Kentucky. Rouen (Apache du Forest) stars in international competition with French rider Farbice Dumartin. Another full sister, Quina, was successful in 1.50 classes until she was retired to stud. She produced the licensed Deauville van T&L (by Salvador V). Toulon is by the great sire Heartbreaker, himself proven at competition with Peter Geerink and in 2013, number four on the WBFSH jumping sires standings. The dam’s sire Jokinal de Borvinal is a son of Almé – he was shown by Ludo Philippaerts for two seasons, with wins at Mechelen (twice), Millstreet, Oslo and Bologne. Toulon’s international jumping career with Frenchman Hubert Bourdy included a win in the Global Champions Tour in 2007 in Sao Paulo. In 2008 Italian Jonella Ligresti took over the ride.
Toulon’s progeny, although still young, are already starting to have an impact on the jumping scene. His daughter Toulouse was crowned champion of the six-year-old jumping horses at the 2011 Bundeschampionat in Warendorf. The mare is now successful at international competition with Henrik von Eckerman. His currently most successful son is Toulago who won the Grand Prix at Zurich***** with Pius Schwizer.

A superb, big time, scopey jumper himself, with the sharp technique typical of the Heartbreaker sons, Toulon passes on his great temperament and positive attitude to jumping. His offspring impress through their supple movements and superb canter and seem to inherit a lot of his technique and instinct at the fence.

Dam SPA Clarissa by Comte passed her performance test with good scores, was awarded two Ia prizes (at age 2 and 3) and became a State Premium candidate in 2014. Comte’s daughters have been regarded highly at the inspections and performance tests over the past few years. They not only have excellent jumping technique and ability, but very good gaits and rideability as well. Comte, a son of Contendro I standing at the Celle State Stud, was the jumping Reserve Champion of his Stallion Performance Test in Adelheidsdorf, and has since competed successfully up to S Level (1.40 m) under Joachim Winter. Clarissa's mare line combines the bloodlines of Ramiro and Gotthard. This filly by Toulon is her first foal.

Second dam SPS Rita by Rio Branco is mother of 3 licensed stallions (City Banking by Contendro I, Easy Boy by Escudo II und Graf Rio by Graf Top) and the successful show jumper Choco Cola by Contendro I. Successful competition horses from this mare line include Laetitia by Lemon Park (4th level dressage), Louisa 34 by Londonderry (Grand Prix Special with Kristy Oatley) and Alessandro by Althoff (S** level jumper with Hans-Jörn Ottens). Licensed stallions from this mare line are: Duden I v. Duellant (Celle State Stud) und Duden II (Baden-Wuerttemberg), Grandios v. Grande (Westphalia), Waldlöwe v. Waldschütz und Darwin v. Duden II (Celle State Stud).
